Are you looking for a Seasonal Opportunity at Aqua? We are currently hiring for a full time Metrology & Field Services Intern to provide support for Aqua' s Operational Efficiency and Compliance efforts. This position is available starting mid- May to end in Mid-August. Rate $16/hr.

Within the Metrology and Field Services function there is a requirement to update data and documentation:

  • Cross connection control and data cleaning; process documentation

  • Companywide manual review and updates

  • Metrology

    • Review meter population dial configuration

    • Inventory process documentation

    • Collect, update, create, meter-related SOP

    • Complete meter roll-call

  • NRW focus system account audit

  • Field Services incl work order review and analysis

  • Outline asset and maintenance best practices

QUALIFICATIONS (Required Experience, Education, Licenses, and Certifications)

  • Enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate degree from an accredited college working towards a science or engineering degree.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

  • Knowledge of data entry and analysis; statistics experience a plus.

  • Ability to work cooperatively with teams and independently on office/data tasks.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Perform sedentary work- exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

  • See, hear, talk, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.

  • Operate standard office equipment.

  • Working conditions may include travel to work sites of Essential Utilities and/or other constituents (if applicable).
