Job Summary

The Inside Sales Coordinator is responsible for helping the account managers with existing customers thru phones and email communication, to enter orders, increase sales, provide lead times, delivery dates and provide excellent customer service. Also gives support to account managers by maintaining frequent communication with the plants and helping troubleshoot any problems that may come up. Works under general supervision; a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required; relays on pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Services and maintains positive relationships with current customer base and grows relationships with new customers
  • Solicits sales orders from existing customers via phone, email, or account managers
  • Communicates sample needs for customers with the plant. Ensuring customer satisfaction and provides professional customer support.
  • Corresponds regularly with customers whether it is new purchase orders, lead times on existing orders, and shipping dates. Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions.
  • Works with account managers to comply with customer request and to solve customer problems, will be helping 3 or more accounts managers with their daily orders needs and varies tasks.
  • Maintains positive relationships with shipping and production teams. Giving them product information and new order lead times
  • Prepares various reports (examples: inventory, stocking lists, on time delivery) and correspondence as required
  • Attends various product trainings, as needed
  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum of high school graduate
  • Minimum two years of experience in customer services
  • Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer and business-related software, including Microsoft applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of various office equipment (computer, scanner, etc)

Compensation & Benefit Information:

Salary Pay Range: $25-$28 per hour depending on experience*

Bonus/Incentive Pay

Annual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria and individual job responsibility and performance.
