  • Serve as the project's liaison with project stakeholders.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. With support from project sponsors, negotiate the acquisition of staffing and project resources needed to complete the project, including both internal and external resources (third-party contractors/consultants).
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members. Influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Apply change, risk, and resource management.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • Identify project risks and issues and determine resolution and mitigation plans.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Prepare project dashboards, proposals, and presentations, and communicate this information to project sponsors, executives, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Develop and grow business relationships that are vital to the success of the project.
  • Conduct post-implementation lessons learned discussions and document successful project elements and recommendations for future improvement opportunities.
  • Support the development of best practices and tools for project execution and management.
